  38. 2)  Speed dramatically improved when DupMsg is run more than
  39.     once per day, when only a few new messages are added to a
  40.     conference.  In a 1400 message conference, one new message
  41.     only takes a second or two to process.  In previous versions,
  42.     it could take up to thirty seconds.

  44. 3)  Added automatic message tracking information.  If full
  45.     duplicate logging is enabled, the duplicate's source or
  46.     the uploader's name will be written to the log file.

  48. 4)  Additional duplicates identified that were related to the
  49.     < > @ = characters and ANSI messages.

  51. Enhancements:

  53. 1)  Additional error detection has been added.  More validity
  54.     checks are performed on the message record and keys to
  55.     detect possible corruption.

  57. 2)  10070 errors no longer cause DupMsg to halt, but will stop
  58.     processing on the current database and continue with the
  59.     next one.

  63. 1)  A rare error that could cause a QEMM error has been fixed.

  70. --   It's been a busy time for finding new duplicates.  This
  71.      is an extension of the Fido High to Low ASCII duplicates.
  72.      Finds a few more dupes than v2.31.

  77. --   Discovered another twist to duplicate message detection.
  78.      Messages that get passed through Fido or other conferences
  79.      where high ASCII is not allowed have that high ASCII

  82. --   Control [Break] remapping has been eliminated.  Previously,
  83.      the normal Control [Break] function was saved and a new
  84.      function took its place while DupMsg was running.  The
  85.      normal function was restored on exit.  Due to possible
  86.      BIOS problems on some systems, this has been eliminated.

  88.      Control-C remapping still takes place, and is inherently
  89.      more reliable.  Control-C is a DOS function while Control
  90.      [Break] is a BIOS function.
